Open Challenges
Beginning in 2019 University Hall of Innovation is launching the 'Open Challenge' platform to university and high school students. If your program does not include design/build or if your facilities cannot support full-scale construction we want to make sure that all design students have the opportunity to take part in a University Hall Challenge. 'Open Challenges' will have individual themes and mentors for each challenge. Because of the volunteer nature of our mentors and board each 'Open Challenge' will be limited in the number of available spaces. The winning entries chosen from each Challenge will be exhibited in the University Hall of Innovation booth at the next High Point Market following the Challenge. There is a limit to the number of challenges that any student may take part in during a calendar year. Students may only compete in two Challenges, whether 'by Design' or 'Open Challenges' each year.
